Crosswalk Special Events Calendar

This is going to be a work in progress...and yes you'll probably find a few things out of date on here...but we'll try to keep this updated as big events are coming up. I know parents really appreciate having this as a tool to know what's upcoming, so we'll try to keep those events posted here.

THIS CALENDAR IS FOR SPECIAL EVENTS NOT ON OUR REGULAR WEEKLY SCHEDULE.
Beginning Aug. 25th, our normal Crosswalk schedule resumed.

August 2010

8 - Sliding Rock Trip
     Eat at the Crosswalk immediately following church and return by 6pm. $1 admission to park.

15 - Student Minister Search Listening Sessions
     Meet at Crosswalk at 4pm for session. Supper immed. following and then Volleyball in gym.
     Planning to finish up by 6:30pm.

18 - Family Fun Fair
     Will take place at the ballfield area.     

22 - Sunday School Promotion Sunday. New 6th graders will join us for Sunday School!!

25 - Crosswalk KICK-OFF Night. 
     Doors open around 5:15pm with Crosswalk Cafe serving.
     Game time starts at 6:30pm.
     Worship starts around 6:50pm.
     Evening wraps up around 8pm, Crosswalk remains open until 8:30pm.

27 - Berea High School Football Team hosted at the Crosswalk for evening meal prior to game.

29 - "Discovery Service" preview service in the Crosswalk at 6pm.
     All church family invited to attend this preview run of our new service.
    
     6pm - Discovery Service Preview.
     7pm - Students join together in the Crosswalk Cafe for a snack and to discuss the service.

September

5 - We will be postponing our Small Groups for Sunday night ONE MORE WEEK due to the Labor Day weekend. Several of our teachers were going to be out of town. So our sign-up nigh and first class will be on Sept. 12th.

NO EVENING SERVICE FOR CROSSWALK ON THE 5th.

12 - New Discovery Service begins at 8:15am in the Crosswalk.
     Sunday School for students will begin with our group session in the Crosswalk Cafe at 9:30am and  
     then we will go down to our classrooms.

     Small Groups Intro Night.
     This night will be your chance to sign up for one of our small groups and we'll give a preview of
     what each class is all about.  There will be four classes to choose from.
     6pm - 7:00pm in the Crosswalk.

17 - Friday Night Football 5th Quarter Event
     We'll be opening up the Crosswalk for you to come and hang out following the Berea and TR  
     football games. We will keep it open for two hours. We'll share more details as we brainstorm more.
